 Recent
disclosure of the FBI, CIA, and a half dozen other government
agencies choosing to not disclose terrorist threat information
has caused great concern with the American people. Some would
make the case our president was part of recent suppression of
information that would effect us all.
Now just today,
New York City has been placed under "extreme caution" over terrorist
threats. Some would say this threat has been available for many
days, but is just today being announced. So what is going on?
Is there an internal battle to win the hearts and minds of the
American people so certain hidden agendas can be fulfilled? I
am afraid my answer will be unsettling to some. I would suggest
the answer is YES!
I have brought
this issue to surface on many occasions. My personal battle with
NASA has always been with their "public relations policy". For
years NASA has acted on the belief the general public simply could
not absorb the truth regarding current asteroid threats, extreme
solar conditions, and the speed of climate and weather changes.
As many of you have witnessed, I have gone to battle with this
particular government agency. With a good deal of perseverance
and a growing audience, we have begun to see change. NASA now
freely acknowledges a direct connection between solar weather
and climate change.
Back to New
York. Here is the battle. In one corner we have the strongest
lobbing forces known to man. They will fight to the death to protect
their investments. Yes, I am speaking to the dark side of our
chosen democracy...Capitalism! The last thing this almighty force
would want, is for you to have information of their 'lack of control"
over economy and commerce. They truly believe the old slogan..."what
the public doesn't know, won't hurt them".
In the other
corner, we have a growing consortium of public service officials
i.e., congressman, senators, councilmen. They too, have an agenda.
This group truly believes the more informed the public is, the
better able one would be to absorb the shock of sudden change.
Their motto might be..."to know is to learn. To learn is to be
empowered and prepared". However, theirs is not without a touch
of greed as well. Perhaps their hope is you will rely on their
opinion for direction. In other words they may say "follow my
truth, I am on your side. I will lead you to what you want." The
problem here may be obvious and certainly counter to my affirmation
which states "Follow your truth, not mine or anyone else. Seek
and you shall find. Find what? Your Truth!
What we are
seeing unfold in front of our eyes has been around for hundreds
of years. It stems from old parliament procedures. On the one
hand there is the "right of participation". On the other hand
is "the right of decision". These two principals were originally
designed to work in harmony, simultaneously, and with a sense
of unity. Boy, what happen to these ideals??? The answer is only
one...GREED. This goes back to the cave man days. Some would say
we are simply 'hard wired' to follow this innate drive as hunter-gathers
for self preservation.
Is there no
hope? I would say there is a great deal of hope. It may not come
in a very comforting way however. I believe the great equalizer
will not come from man. I believe it will come in the way of natural
forces. Yes, I am saying it will be through the tragedy of outside
forces such as solar extremes, continued 'freak weather', volcanoes,
earthquakes, or even an asteroid hit. Is it just a coincidence
most of our ancestors speak of something "coming from the sky"
or from the heavens"?
It is my belief,
as events escalate in the way of weather and war, status quo will
be loosened. The power brokers may panic, errors will be made
change will ensue. But this is the smaller portion of the equation.
It will be the external forces which make the difference. As the
Hopi's say "the world will end...as we know it". This does not
mean life will end. It is saying our way of knowingness will end.
The Mayan Calendar suggest this very same notion with a given
year of 2012. It is in this year the calendar ends. Nothing is
stated after. Most Maya scholars suggest this too means life will
shift as we know it.
What is my best
guess of current events? The freedom fighters will make a grand
push. We will have a sense of openness and inclusion of all matters
concerning terrorist and even solar/weather/asteroid events. Unfortunately,
greed will win out and status quo may resume. But wait! after
this period of time, external forces will escalate to such a degree
we will be forced to once again rely on our neighbor. Community,
family, togetherness will be a necessity to survive.
Am I crouched
under the table fearful to even go outside? Not even close. This
is a very natural "cycle of events". The Earth has seen this many
times before. Change is as essential for life as oxygen and water.
It is how we cope with change that will make the difference. The
disciplines of spirituality will indeed help many of us find our
way. Our ancestors have told us this time and time again. In many
ways 'spirituality' was indeed their 'science'.
