Mitch is on location tonight at Seattle Center at the base of the Space Needle.

At this time all appears calm. At exactly 6:00PM Seattle time, there was a "clean and sweep" of the entire facility, no unauthorized personnel was allowed to remain on the premises. Mitch, however has obtained a press pass and will be allowed to remain. At this time, no one is allowed to enter or exit the building.

Currently there are 4 or 5 helicopters circling the area.

Everything appears to be uneventful and under control as of 6:45PM Pacific Time.

Mitch will be stationed inside the Center throughout the night.
