Never before in recorded history have we seen such an escalation in weather phenomenon i.e. (Earth Changes). Note that I said "recorded history". This does not mean that the earth (and our ancestors) have not seen this before. Scientific data suggest that indeed the earth has been through such a cycle not just once, but perhaps "five times", as agreed by many scientist, over the last several million years.
My research continues to point directly to the Sun's solar cycle as the cause for the events we are witness to today. Just take a look at the three news releases below. ALL three occurred within 72 hours.
As if the "Mega Solar Cycle" was not enough, watch for severe "Mega Quakes" to occur within the next two to three weeks around the ring of fire. As you know, on December 22nd the winter Solstice will bring in the new millennium with a lunar event not seen for 133 years; and not expected to be seen again (with this alignment) for hundreds of years to come. This is a time when the moon will be unusually close to the earth. As we have learned from Jim Berkland's research as a geologist - seismologist, the moon plays a hugh role in predicting earthquake activity. Jim calls this particular "window of opportunity" (term used for predictions) "Super Syzygy". See more on Jim's site: http://www.syzygyjob.com
This event called "Super Syzygy" coupled with the current "Solar Mega Cycle", should prove to be an extraordinary time. Could this be what the prophets and predictors saw in their visions? So many spiritual disciplines seem to have converged on this very time. So buckle you seat belt, the ride has left the station.
I will have Jim Berkland as my guest on December 23rd "live" on Earth Changes TV.
Blessings to all,
Mitch Battros

Ecuador's Pichincha Volcano Erupts...12/18/99
QUITO, Ecuador (AP) -- The Pichincha volcano shot a seven-mile column of ash,
vapor and gas into the sky Friday, prompting authorities to shut down the capital's
airport as a precaution.
It was the fifth airport closure caused by volcanic explosions since Pichincha started registering a series of large and small eruptions three months ago.
Little ash had accumulated in the capital. Strong winds pushed most of the silty, gray volcanic material northeast past the city. But even tiny amounts of volcanic ash can interfere with jet engines, airport officials have said.
Ecuador's Geophysical Institute said it registered a series of volcanic explosions Friday morning. Pichincha's crater, which scientists do not expect will explode with lava, lies on a lower side of a mountain range, about 8 miles west of the capital and facing away from the city.
Pichincha has not been considered a direct threat to Quito's
population, although ash explosions have led officials to close schools. Pichincha
last erupted in 1660, spewing ash for nine days. No one was killed.
Record Breaking Flood, Thousands Feared
Dead In Venezuela...12/18/99
CARACAS, Venezuela, (Associated Press) More heavy rains lashed Venezuela on
Friday as the death toll from floods and mudslides rose to 202. The government
said nearly 7,000 people were missing, and many were feared dead. Foreign Minister
Jose Vicente Rangel told The Associated Press that about 7,000 people had been
missing early Friday, but 300-400 people had been located by evening. The death
toll was likely to rise significantly.
THE NUMBER of people left homeless was 80,000, President
Hugo Chavez said in a speech Friday night. The latest official figures show
the devastation wreaked by several days of torrential rains in Venezuela is
far worse than previously thought.
Chavez said he was dispatching 1,000 soldiers belonging to elite paratroopers’
brigades to rescue and tend to stranded flood victims on Venezuela’s northern
coast.
Record Breaking Cyclone Hits Australia...12/15/99
PERTH, Australia (AP) - Packing wind gusts of up to 185 mph,
the most powerful cyclone ever recorded in Australia lashed the northwestern
coast Wednesday, damaging homes, forcing evacuations and ripping up trees.
Cyclone John moved over land near Whim Creek early Wednesday morning, bringing
driving rains and powerful gusts that caused power outages and drove hundreds
of people from their homes. Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Brian Bowase said
it was the strongest strong to hit Australia since the government began keeping
records. Bowase said he still did not have an accurate reading on the sustained
wind speed of the cyclone, a term used for a hurricane in Australia. Telephone
service was knocked out in Whim Creek, 750 miles north of the Western Australia
state capital, Perth.
